What it is for
The MATO belt clamp is used during belt repair or splicing to hold and position both ends of the conveyor belt.
It works with a self-energising grip: whatever the belt tension, the clamping force increases, ensuring safe tensioning that protects the belt under every load condition. Clamps are used in pairs — one at each end.

Design
Components
MATO Belt Clamp S · 2-piece set
- Upper bar Upper clamping bar that presses the belt from above.
- Lower bar Lower clamping bar positioned under the belt.
- Tensioning screw with rod Closes and tightens the bars evenly using its rod.
A complete clamp consists of two pairs of bars: one pair is fitted at each end of the belt.

Supplied in pairs = 2 pieces (one for each belt end). Each clamp must only be used on the belt width, thickness and strength assigned to its nominal size.

How to choose
- Load capacity: for higher belt tension and thickness choose 60 kN; for lighter loads, 30 kN.
- Width: select the nominal size (1000 to 1800 mm) that matches the actual belt width within the permissible range.
- In pairs: remember that one clamp is required at each end of the belt.
