VPS SpA (“VPS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data when you visit new.svps.cl, contact us or request a quote.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

  • Consent preferences: choices stored by the website’s cookie and consent manager.

Please do not include sensitive personal data or unnecessary information in free-text fields or attachments.

5. Cookies, embedded content and anti-spam services

The website uses essential cookies required for Drupal sessions and to remember consent choices. Optional embedded content, such as YouTube, is loaded only according to the consent settings displayed on the website. Contact and quote forms use Friendly Captcha to prevent automated abuse; this may involve processing technical connection data for security verification. You can review or change optional consent choices through the website’s consent controls.

6. Who may receive personal data?

Authorized VPS personnel may access data when required to respond to your request. We may also use service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, maintenance, security, file storage and anti-spam verification. These providers may process data only to provide their services and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Some technology providers may process information outside Chile. Where applicable, VPS will use the safeguards required by Chilean law for international data transfers.

7. How long we retain data

We keep enquiries, quote requests and related communications only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the potential or existing business relationship, comply with legal and accounting duties, and establish or defend legal claims. Security logs and consent records are retained for periods proportionate to their purpose. When data is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized or securely restricted.

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please avoid sending information that is not necessary for your request.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable Chilean law, you may request information about the personal data we hold about you and ask for access, rectification, deletion or cancellation, opposition, or blocking. Where legally applicable, you may also request portability and withdraw consent.

10. Children

This website is intended for business and industrial enquiries and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from children through our contact or quote forms.

11. Applicable law

This policy is governed by Chilean law, including Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life and its amendments. Law No. 21,719 introduces a reformed personal-data framework that enters into force on December 1, 2026. Official texts are available from the Library of the National Congress of Chile.
