We provide conveyor belt replacement and splicing for planned shutdowns, spot work and emergency response. Our specialized crews use company-owned vulcanizing equipment and belt lifters to work on site and help reduce downtime.

The service can include removing the belt in operation, preparing the work area, handling rolls and installing the replacement belt.

We perform hot vulcanized splices by preparing the covers, building the splice, vulcanizing and cooling it. We also carry out cold-bonded joints for contingencies and rapid interventions.

Depending on the installation, the work may include belt shortening and tensioning. Mechanical fastening is also available where operating conditions make it appropriate.

In April 2024, VPS completed emergency preparations and replacement of the CVB-012 ST 1600 belt at Antucoya.
